"… People think that glass is cold and monotonous but actually it is dynamic, alive and reflects much warmth in it and through it…" Gideon Fridman, home artist in Arad's glass museum.
From the desert's heat grew the glass museum and it is alive and kicking. The museum was established by the Fridman family, who opened its home and its heart to glass artists and glass lovers wherever they are. The museum is the national center for glass art, and was built in order to be a universal center for exhibiting, teaching, offering information and selling glass art.
The establishment. Gideon started working with glass at the beginning of the 1990's. For many years he kept his works to himself, and didn't show them even to his family. When he decided to reveal his unique art the family was amazed and decided not to wait anymore and to exhibit his works in the right place.
